See her desk (or the floor around her desk, I guess)? Yeah, that's what mine looks like. And it's only been two weeks...
I didn't want to do this. I tried going to my teachers and explaining to them that I just
couldn't read the 500 words per week they expect of me, because I had other obligations - obligations that I totally prefer over, well, homework - unfortunately, they don't take too kindly to cutting back on homework for fanfiction. Who know? *is shocked*
So, to save my sanity (and by default, the quality of my writing) I will have to put myself on a hiatus. I feel bad doing this, because part of what I love about writing this series, is the weekly updates, and having to work a plotline into the small amounts I'm given each week by Kripke and Co. But, school comes first (my mom would be so proud!).
I'm not sure when I'll be pulling myself out of this hiatus. It could be very soon, or it could take until Winter Break. All of my classes enjoy assigning reading, and now that we've had two weeks of it, they're starting to assign writing to go along with the reading. So my time, it is a fillin' up.
Anyway, whine, whine, I
will however, continue to watch SPN, and plot every episode (I've gotta have something to keep my brain from turning to mush during
loong lectures). So, once I do pull myself from out of hiatus, I should be able to start producing episodes quickly.
*deep breath*
Don't most people just say:
I'm going on hiatus, see you when I'm free? Yeah, not me...
One last thing (and then I'm done, I swear!):
Since I
don't want y'all to forget about Crossing Kansas want something to look forward to want your input, I'm going to put up a post where you can put your suggestions for episodes. I know I asked this before, but now that SPN is actually airing, I thought you might be coming with some more ideas. I'll keep that post at the top of my LJ so you can all comment whenever you like (and I'll probably mention it every Thursday after SPN).
*another breath*
Alright. That's it. I'll still be around. I just won't be writing
much. *is weak*.
Thanks for reading! ;D
